Cancer Awareness Factsheets are evidence-based information sheets, developed by the Cancer Communication Working Group, in order to ensure that a unified common literature exists for all stakeholders and ensure alignment in the cancer awareness messaging in Qatar.
The efforts of the partners tasked with the responsibility of developing the factsheets is to promote alignment of appropriate and consistent messaging for cancer awareness, communication and education within Qatar, and support the improvement of the health literacy of the population.
The CCWG develops factsheets in a standardized format based on the cancers identified within the cancer awareness calendar published annually. The factsheets are for individuals (public and health professionals) looking for information on cancers.
