The QNCR collects applicable and available information about all tumors diagnosed, treated or managed within the State of Qatar. Analysis covers the malignant cases, with some information about in situ tumors only; data collected on recurrence are limited.
Information and indicators presented in these below reports; are based on the cancer data collected about patients newly diagnosed during the mentioned year in the State of Qatar and about Qataris treated abroad.
The reference date for the start of QNCR is January 1st, 2014.
Data cleaning was done according to international cancer data standards; we used the LinkPlus software for de-duplication and R software for analysis.
